Methodology, Services & Consulting Fees
|
|
"It is a regrettable fact of business life that the existing management
of a faltering company is viewed as one of the primary causes of the
problems and thus not capable of leading the turnaround process. I have
found that the opposite is true. If the existing managers are given
the tools to handle the job, they are very often the best people to
achieve the desired results."

Ed Freiermuths Time-Tested Methodology
|
-
When a business retains the consulting services of Ed Freiermuth
it gets the services of Ed Freiermuth. There are no
junior partners or associates who will be handed the ball once an
engagement begins. Clients get the personal attention they want and
expect. This obviously limits the number of clients to a select few.
-
Although a short engagement letter is provided and there is the need
for a modest retainer, there are no long-term commitments or contracts.
|
-
Ed Freiermuth serves at the pleasure of the client, and under
his "no fault" policy, can be dismissed at any time for
any reason, no questions asked.
-
The primary role of Ed Freiermuth is to quickly and effectively teach
management how to get organized and to implement the strategies
and tactics necessary to achieve a business turnaround and emerge
from the financial difficulties a stronger company capable of renewed
growth and sustainable profitability.

Services
|
|
-
Corroboration, modification or alteration of management's analysis
of the financial, operating, marketing and organizational problems
that must be solved.
-
Assessment of the adequacy of the company's current cash flow
to support ongoing operations as well as meet maturing obligations
to creditors.
-
Assistance in preparing and implementing a business strategy
which takes advantage of the company's opportunities and provides
solutions to its financial problems.
|
-
Advice, or direct participation, in presentations to, or negotiations
with, the company's shareholders, directors, employees, and secured
and unsecured creditors, when or if required.
-
Assistance, or direct involvement, in preparing proposals to extend
the time period for the company to meet its obligations to its
creditors, when or if needed.
|
Fees and Expenses
|
-
The fee for consulting services is based upon the hourly rate of
$300. The size of the retainer needed to begin
an engagement will depend upon the magnitude of financial challenges
the business is experiencing as determined after a preliminary review
of the financial statements. If, for any reason, a client elects
to terminate services, a prompt refund will be made of any unused
advance payments.
